Rheonix is engaged in multiple corporate-funded partnerships addressing a variety of applications that can benefit from the Rheonix CARD® (Chemistry And Reagent Device) system:
- In vitro diagnostics, including immunoassay, molecular assays, and receptor-based assays
- Protein/Nucleic Acid purification
- Environmental testing, including food and water testing
- Bioburden testing during the manufacture of products in the biopharm, food and beverage, and personal care markets
- Flow injection analysis
A number of important collaborations with major universities have allowed Rheonix to gain third-party validation of the utility of the Rheonix CARD system:

Rheonix is currently the recipient of government funds to explore the development of systems that meet specific detection needs for infectious disease and pathogen identification:
- National Institutes of Health/National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIH/NIAID)
- United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA)
- National Science Foundation (NSF)
A joint venture with Beijing Bohui Innovative Technology Co., Ltd. (Beijing, China) provides Rheonix with not only access to the expanding diagnostic markets in China, but also state-of-the-art medical device manufacturing facilities. Rheonix anticipates the launch of a commercialized HPV Rheonix CARD system through this joint venture in the second half of 2010.
