The Rheonix CARD™ has direct applications in such diverse fields as:

Because of its extreme versatility, the Rheonix CARD™ can be designed and configured to perform virtually any existing or new assay with turn-key operations in a single, disposable, plastic device. To date, we have successfully transferred numerous "bench top" assays to the CARD™, thus making the technical and financial advantages of the technology available to multiple fields. Our rapid prototype capabilities can transfer most existing assays to a CARD™ within a period of time as brief as several weeks.
The CARD™ has been used successfully for such diverse applications as water analysis, food testing, evaluation of microbial contamination, and the detection of human infectious disease agents such as HIV-1 and HPV. Given our ability to perform all aspects of SNP analysis, cost efficient and easy-to-perform personalized medicine applications are now possible.
With our recent acquisition of Innovative Biotechnologies International (IBI) and its IP portfolio for electrochemical biosensors, we can also provide a fully-integrated CARD™ device that will not only automatically perform all preparative and analytical steps, but will also provide objective and easy-to-interpret digital output of results.
